The young midfielder could have decided to leave City for opportunities at Liverpool or Manchester United. Instead, the 16-year-old midfielder has decided to stay with Manchester City. It now seems that Parker is set to begin to progress through Manchester City’s academy system. David Ornstein also reports that Parker is set to play predominantly for Manchester City’s under-21 side this season. Xavier Parker was also part of the City squad that went to Asia. There, he impressed Enzo Maresca, which has set him up for a meteoric rise.
