Juventus finalising Jhon Lucumí deal, announcement imminent In recent hours, several outlets have confirmed that Juventus have agreed a deal in the region of €20 million for Bologna defender Jhon Lucumí. As further confirmed by ilBiancoNero editorial director Romeo Agresti , Juve are close to finalising the deal with the 28-year-old Colombia international, who is set to earn a net annual salary of €2.5 million per year, marking a significant bump on his last contract with the Rossoblù, which earned him a gross annual wage of €1.2 million. Having entered the final year of his contract with Bologna, Lucumí had widely been expected to leave the club this summer. Having spent four years at Renato Dall’Ara, Lucumí leaves for Turin regarded as one of the most reliable defenders in the league, having made over 150 appearances for Bologna. A safe bet Juventus have further strengthened their backline by lining up another experienced Italian top-flight operator alongside Gleison Bremer, who amid transfer interest has finally decided to extend his stay with the Old Lady until June 2029. This is as safe a bet as Juve could have gone for: a reasonably affordable yet reliable centre-back with loads of experience behind him and a significant portion of his prime ahead of him.
