The Portuguese returned to the Bernabeu earlier this summer to lead the club’s recovery, as they seek to end a run of two years in a row without a major trophy. One of the leading players that will be tasked with turning around Real Madrid’s fortunes is Jude Bellingham. The English midfielder returned to Valdebebas earlier this following his successful exploits at the 2026 World Cup , and upon speaking to Real Madrid TV (via MD ), he expressed his excitement at the prospect of working under Mourinho. “I feel that I have a relationship with him already and it is a dream for me to work with a coach like Mourinho. I only had one chance to see him, but I’m very excited to see how he’s like. I’m running a lot, in the heat, and I’m playing a lot of football with my teammates. It’s hard, but it’s good to enjoy.
