Still, when they start adding more attacking players, the landscape changes. From a Liverpool angle, Barcola makes a lot of sense. He is young, dynamic, direct and already proven at elite level. Under Andoni Iraola, you can easily imagine him thriving in a more aggressive, vertical system. Liverpool’s forward line has needed fresh top-end quality after a summer of change, and this would be exactly that.
