Mika Godts is close to a deal which will bring him from Ajax to the Parc des Princes. Santi Aouna of FootMercato, who usually gets these things right, says that PSG and Ajax have a verbal agreement in place already, and that the Belgian starlet is heading to Paris to complete his medical and the paperwork necessary to get the deal over the line. Godts on the way to Paris for PSG medical Previous claims have put the transfer fee at €55m, pretty good business for a player who appears to have plenty more levels to go to, and should shine when surrounded with world class teammates. He will face the same challenges as PSG’s other signings – earning minutes in a team with an exceptionally strong first choice front line. The fact he will sign with most of preseason already completed will be a further handicap to him. In other news… Another deal which is very close to completion will see goalkeeper Zion Suzuki come to PSG – but there are now big questions about the interstitial loan which was supposed to happen. The deal to sign Ferran Torres is almost done – Fabrizio Romano is reporting that the attacker has the green light to take his PSG medical.
