Official: Immobile announces retirement at age 36 after legendary career Former Italy and Lazio striker Ciro Immobile, who had been with Paris FC, has announced his retirement at the age of 36. The centre-forward was one of the most prolific players in Serie A history , and his contract with the Ligue 1 side was meant to run until June 2027. However, he decided to hang up his boots following injury problems, despite scoring two goals with two assists in just 12 games for the club last season. The most significant time of his career was no doubt with Lazio, lasting from 2016 until 2024.
