Confirmed: Real Madrid squad list to face Schalke – Diomande, Mbappe in Real Madrid will take on Schalke 04 in their final pre-season friendly match before the start of the 2026/27 tomorrow in Gelsenkirchen. Also absent is Aurelien Tchouameni, who is recovering from a physical discomfort and could be ready for the start of the season. Raul Asencio and Thiago Pitarch are also unavailable through injuries, along with Rodrygo, Eder Militao, and Ferland Mendy. Thibaut Courtois, who has yet to feature in any pre-season matches this summer, is in the squad for the first time and could get a game. Youngsters Mario Rivas, Jorge Cestero, and Alexis Ciria also continue in the squad, but Lacosta and Dani Yanez have been left behind.
