Juventus make fresh contact for Aston Villa’s Emi Martinez Serie A side Juventus are yet to finalise a goalkeeper signing and while the idea of Guglielmo Vicario has gained traction, Aston Villa’s Emi Martinez remains an option for a transfer. The Villans have made quick progress in a move for Zion Suzuki and this has given rise to Martinez possibly leaving the Birmingham club. Alfredo Pedulla has reported that Juventus have now stepped forward for the Argentine once again. They have made fresh contact with his entourage and while they haven’t made a new, formal offer, this is a sign that they’re back to being alert to the scenario, knowing that developments have taken place on the Suzuki front. The Vicario move remains alive but Martinez is seen as a much more prominent target, even if a deal for the Tottenham player could be easier.
