Davide Ancelotti confirms ongoing negotiations between Manchester City and Lille for Ayyoub Bouaddi In his post-match press conference following Lille’s final preseason game against Everton, Davide Ancelotti confirmed negotiations are ongoing with Manchester City over the potential transfer of Ayyoub Bouaddi (18). The Premier League club are believed to have reached an agreement with Les Dogues for the 18-year-old, Sacha Tavolieri understands. Bouaddi has had a meteoric rise since he made his debut in Ligue 1. Lille are set to profit from this as they command a fee in the region of €100m from Manchester City for the Moroccan international midfielder. Ancelotti confirms talks with Manchester City Speaking to the media, the Italian head coach said, “Of course, there are negotiations. There is interest from so many clubs. He is a really, really good player and I hope that he is going to stay with us! What makes him so special? He has a huge personality. “He is incredibly intelligent on and off the pitch, he is really mature. He is 18 years old but he looks like he is 32 when he is on the pitch.
