Official: Lucumi joins Juventus from Bologna as price tag revealed Jhon Lucumi has officially joined Juventus from Bologna for €19.5m plus add-ons, the Bianconeri confirmed. Colombia international Lucumi has joined Juventus from Bologna, signing a contract until June 2030. Lucumi, 28, underwent medical tests in Turin on Sunday, and the Bianconeri confirmed his signing this morning. Lucumi joins Juventus: official statement “Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that an agreement with Bologna FC 1909 for the definitive acquisition of the registration rights of the player Jhon Janer Lucumí Bonilla has been reached for a consideration of € 19.5 million, payable in three financial years, with the addition of ancillary costs up to € 0.6 million,” Juventus said. “Furthermore, bonuses up to a maximum of € 2 million are envisaged upon the achievement of further performance objectives. Juventus and the player have signed a contract of employment until 30 June 2030.” Lucumi had joined Bologna from Belgian side Genk in the summer of 2022 for €8m. The Colombian centre-back made 123 appearances in Serie A with the Rossoblu, scoring one goal. (Photo by David Ramos/Getty Images) During his time at Bologna, he also played eight times in the Champions League, scoring one goal, and won the Coppa Italia in the 2024-25 campaign under Vincenzo Italiano. A Colombia international, Lucumi featured at the 2026 World Cup, making five appearances, all as a starter. Colombia were knocked out on penalties in the Round of 16, losing to Switzerland. Lucumi is Juventus’ fourth summer signing after Jeff Ekhator, Randal Kolo Muani and Kerim Alajbegović. The Bianconeri are also close to reaching an agreement with Tottenham for Italy international Guglielmo Vicario.
