Archie Davies played 47 times for Carlisle across two seasons [Rex Features] Yeovil Town have signed defender Archie Davies from fellow National League side Carlisle on a two-year deal. The 27-year-old made 27 appearances for the Cumbrians last season under Mark Hughes, helping his side to the National League play-off semi-finals. In all, he has made 150 senior appearances across the EFL, National League and League of Ireland for clubs including Crawley Town, Aldershot, and Dundalk. He made his professional debut with Brighton in 2019. "It's a club that looks like it is moving in the right direction, so I am really happy to be here," Davies told the club website. "I am an attacking wing-back, I like to get forward, trying to get the fans off their seats." Davies is the latest signing made by the Glovers in recent weeks, after securing the services of Stephen Walker , Johl Powell, Mason Obeng, and Zain Westbrooke.
