Liverpool Agree On A Five-Year Contract With This Paris Saint-Germain Winger: Decent Signing For Iraola? In a recent post on X , journalist Fabrice Hawkins mentioned that Liverpool have agreed on a five-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain winger Ibrahim Mbaye. It has been stated that the Senegalese talent has rejected interest from Bayer 04 Leverkusen in favour of a move to the Merseyside club this summer. Mbaye’s Impressive Form In French Football Mbaye managed to catch the eye at times with his performances for PSG in the previous campaign. The Senegalese sensation made 31 appearances for the French outfit last season, netting three goals and earning two assists across all fronts. The 18-year-old is currently one of the most gifted young wide players in Ligue 1. Thus, it is no wonder that the Reds are showing interest in recruiting him this off-season. Mbaye’s current contract at the French club will run out in the summer of 2028, so Liverpool would have to make a convincing offer if they want to land him this month. Mbaye is a decent dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make some dangerous runs with the ball out in the wide positions. He has the vision to create a few promising chances for his teammates in the offensive end of the field and can shoot the ball with power from long range. The Senegalese talent can even contribute by scoring and creating a few crucial goals for his team. Mbaye is primarily a right-winger but can also operate as a left-sided wide player if told to do so. However, only time will tell whether he can adapt to the physical style and high intensity of the Premier League if the Reds manage to snap him up this off-season. We can expect Mbaye to bring more quality and depth to Liverpool head coach Andoni Iraola’s frontline. He has what it takes to fight for a regular first-team spot at the Merseyside club in the coming years. At 18, Mbaye has the potential to be a future star in English football. Hence, he would be a great signing for the Reds in the long run.
