🚨 BREAKING: Aston Villa announce €50m double deal Aston Villa have started Wednesday by announcing a double deal for Zion Suzuki and Matteo Ruggeri. The Japan international goalkeeper joins from Parma in a deal worth €30m which has the potential to rise by a further €5m in add-ons and has signed a five-year contract. He is set to take over from Emiliano Martínez as the club's new number one, although the Argentine remains in limbo after a potential move to Juventus fell through. Meanwhile, Ruggeri has signed for a fee of €20m and leaves Atlético de Madrid just one season after arriving from Atalanta. The full-back made 45 appearances in his only season in the Spanish capital and provided seven assists.
