Barcelona set strict financial conditions for in-demand defender’s exit Barcelona’s plan to send Hector Fort away from the club is moving closer to a conclusion, but what initially looked like a straightforward move to Borussia Dortmund has become more complicated. In recent days, it appeared that Barça were on the verge of reaching an agreement with Dortmund for the young full-back.  The Bundesliga side seemed well placed to secure his signing , only for Real Sociedad to enter the picture late to complicate the deal. Barcelona set transfer conditions for Hector Fort Now, according to the latest update from Matteo Moretto (h/t FCB World ), Dortmund remain in the strongest position to reach an agreement with Barcelona. Whichever club meets those conditions will be in a position to move forward with the Hector Fort transfer. Dortmund lead as Sociedad complicate Hector Fort deal As reported before, Dortmund appeared to have a clear run at Fort earlier in the transfer window . The Bundesliga club had emerged as the most likely destination for the Barcelona defender, and a deal seemed close to being completed. However, Real Sociedad’s late interest slowed down the process. Barcelona’s valuation has also become an important part of the story. Earlier information suggested the club had placed a value of around €10 million on the player, but Moretto’s latest update offers a clearer picture of the structure Barcelona would prefer. A full sale would require an offer of €20 million. However, the Blaugrana are also open to keeping a 50% stake in the player for a fee in the region of €8-10 million. That second option could be particularly attractive for Barcelona, as Fort remains a talented young player, and retaining part of his rights would allow the club to benefit, just as they have done with Jofre Torrents and Tommy Marques.
