AC Milan inquire about Brazilian forward as Real Madrid rule out summer exit
AC Milan inquire about Brazilian forward as Real Madrid rule out summer exit Real Madrid have had a very busy summer transfer window so far, bringing in up to six new players and also saying goodbyes to several of their current players. While further moves are still not ruled out, Jose Mourinho in a recent media appearance hinted that the Merengues might not make any more moves in this summer transfer window. Still, clubs from around Europe are still assessing their chances of landing some of Los Blancos’ players. This is clear from a report from SPORT , which cites Fabrizio Romano to report that the Serie A side AC Milan have contacted the Brazilian forward Endrick’s entourage to inquire about the possibility of having him in their team. Real Madrid have ruled out a move for the striker at this point in time, but the possibility of a move in the next winter transfer window remains, as the club and the player will reassess his situation and make a decision again in January. The Brazilian returned to Real Madrid after a fruitful second half of the last season with the Ligue 1 side Lyon, which also earned him a call-up from Carlo Ancelotti for Brazil’s squad for the World Cup. He returned to the Spanish capital with hopes of having more prominence next season, but with the arrivals of Yan Diomande and Carlos Espi, his chances of getting regular minutes are again under doubt. For his part, Jose Mourinho wants to have Endrick in his team , as he sees him as the deputy of Diomande on the right wing position. The Portuguese coach values the Brazilian’s versatility, explosiveness, and change of pace very highly, and believes these characteristics can turn out to be very useful for him during the next season. Thus, although he continues to enjoy the interest of top European clubs, Endrick seems set to stay at Real Madrid, at least for the first half of the next season.
