Philadelphia Union closing in to sign Toulouse defender Mark McKenzie Philadelphia Union are reportedly finalising the signing of Toulouse FC’s Mark McKenzie (27), according to information from The Athletic . Whilst the French club have no intention of letting their defender go this summer, an agreement regarding the US international’s (30 caps) departure in the winter is reportedly close to being finalised. The deal would bring in just over €2m for Toulouse, with McKenzie having recently entered the final year of his contract. Having joined Toulouse from KRC Genk for €3m in the summer of 2024, the New York City native has established himself as a key player for the Occitan club, starting 62 of the 66 matches he has played in the heart of Téfécé’s central defence (one goal, three assists).
