Juventus could still sign another goalkeeper on top of Vicario Reports in Italy claim that Juventus could still potentially look to bring in another goalkeeper on top of Guglielmo Vicario before the close of the summer transfer window, especially if both Michele Di Gregorio and Mattia Perin end up leaving the club. On Tuesday, Juventus formally announced their signing of Italy international goalkeeper Vicario on loan with a non-mandatory option to buy from Tottenham for a fee of €8m plus up to €2m in bonuses. Audero came through the Juventus academy system but made just one Serie A appearance for the Bianconeri on the final day of the 2016-17 season before joining Venezia and Sampdoria on loan, and then signing for Sampdoria on a permanent deal in 2019. He has since had stints with Inter, Como, Palermo and Cremonese and has racked up 208 appearances in Serie A. Audero would be a useful signing for Juventus as he is not only a homegrown or ‘association-trained’ player, but is also a club-trained player, which is useful for Juve’s UEFA squad list.
