Tottenham target Man City forward Omar Marmoush in triple transfer plan
Tottenham target Man City forward Omar Marmoush in triple transfer plan Tottenham Hotspur are targeting a move for Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush, according to Sky Sports . Tottenham are aiming to strengthen their attacking options after struggling in front of goal last season. The north London club reportedly want to recruit three attackers before the end of the transfer window. They have now added Marmoush to their shortlist. The 27-year-old is behind Erling Haaland in the pecking order, but it remains to be seen whether he would be open to leaving City. Marmoush has three years left on his contract, which could allow City to demand a sizeable fee to sanction his sale. The Egypt international joined the Cityzens from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025. He has recorded 16 goals and six assists in 62 appearances across all competitions. Marmoush would rival Dominic Solanke for a starting berth if he makes the move to Spurs, with Richarlison drawing interest from Everton. Manager Roberto de Zerbi could also deploy him alongside Solanke as the former Frankfurt star performs better with a striking partner. Meanwhile, Tottenham remain interested in Savinho, but Man City may be reluctant to sell the Brazilian and Marmoush at the same time. Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo and Chelsea’s Pedro Neto are also on the shortlist of the north London club. Gakpo is said to be available for £70 million, but would only join Spurs if Liverpool sign Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye from Paris Saint-Germain. A deal for Neto could be prohibitive, as Chelsea have slapped a £100m asking price on the Portugal international. C ity and Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal are interested in him as well.
