PSG ask bold €60m price for wantaway winger; could scare off buyers PSG’s massive asking price for Ibrahim Mbaye is potentially putting Liverpool and other buyers off the Senegal star.  If you enjoy PSG Talk coverage and want to see more of it, add us as a preferred source on Google to make us a favourite and see more of our content. PSG are trying to deal with two winger sales at once right now. Both Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye have decided at the same moment that they’re not getting enough football in Paris, and the summer additions of three further attackers has only convinced them further that they are better served moving on. Liverpool are in for both of them, and while things are a little tangled up with Barcola (given his immense €140m asking price), things should be a little easier for Mbaye. Mbaye asking price remains high despite Paris have already decided they’re happy to sell Mbaye – but only at the right price. Journalist Fabrice Hawkins’ last update came on Wednesday night, where he said on RMC’s evening show that the price for Mbaye is €60m. While he’s very talented, that’s a huge amount of money for a relatively unproven player – especially one with increasing question marks over his character. PSG have lost some leverage in this case because the club (and manager Luis Enrique) seem to have lost patience with Mbaye and his entourage. It’s hard to imagine them integrating him back into the squad if he’s not sold. Maybe a loan for a year then a sale next summer suits everyone best? In other news… If both Barcola and Mbaye go, there is some talk that PSG would consider making another attacking addition this summer. There have been some claims this week that Liverpool are in direct talks with Ibrahim Mbaye over personal terms – but the Athletic have denied them strongly.
