Hansen joins Gaziantep FK on loan
[Getty Images] Middlesbrough winger Sontje Hansen has joined Turkish club Gaziantep FK on loan for the 2026-27 season. The 24-year-old scored one goal in 22 appearances in all competitions for Boro last season. Hansen, a Dutch-born Curacao international who played at the 2026 World Cup, arrived at the Riverside in the summer of 2025 from Eredivisie side NEC Nijmegen. BBC Radio Tees understands Gaziantep, who play in the Turkish Super Lig, have an option to buy Hansen at the end of his loan spell.
