Roma interested in Gittens, Chelsea not open to loan

Roma interested in Gittens, Chelsea not open to loan Gian Piero Gasperini still wants two new signings. The transfer window has gifted the Grugliasco-based coach Santiago Castro, Kostantinos Koulierakis, Nahuel Molina, and Rodrigo Mora. Another left-back and the usual right-footed winger are still missing. In recent hours, the Malick Fofana option has cooled, and Roma has contacted Chelsea for Jamie Bynoe-Gittens. The 2004-born English winger could represent an option for the attacking midfield at the end of the transfer window. Roma are looking to add a player with a different pace than those already present. But the London club doesn’t appear ready to let the former Dortmund player leave on the terms proposed by the Giallorossi. According to Radio Mana Mana, Chelsea are only open to a permanent transfer for Gittens, due to loan restrictions. Roma, on the other hand, are reportedly considering a loan deal. The parties are currently distant, but the deal could be heated up again if the Blues ease their grip in the coming weeks. Tony D’Amico is also keeping an eye on the Luis Henrique situation. Inter’s Brazilian winger could play both as an attacking midfielder and as a full-back, but there is currently disagreement with the Nerazzurri over his value.
