Chelsea midfielder Dario Essugo keen on Strasbourg loan Chelsea midfielder Dario Essugo (21) would be very interested in a season-long loan to BlueCo-owned Ligue 1 side RC Strasbourg, according to L’Equipe . The Portuguese defensive midfielder is in line to take Strasbourg’s third and final loan spot from Chelsea, after agreeing to sign Filip Jörgensen and Genesis Antwi for the campaign ahead. Essugo, who only joined the Blues last summer in a €22m move from Sporting CP, could be the final piece of the BlueCo puzzle. The Portuguese midfielder would be keen to bolster Hugo Oliveira’s ranks at Strasbourg. The Alsatians get their Ligue 1 campaign underway tonight at Marseille’s Vélodrome. On the contrary, Mykhaïlo Mudryk is uninterested in a move to Strasbourg. The latter are also set to welcome two fringe Chelsea players, Deivid Washington and Omari Kellyman, on permanent deals.
