Importantly, the registrations occur just a couple of days before Barcelona kickstart the defence of their La Liga crown against Elche at Estadio Manuel Martinez Valero on Sunday night. Anthony Gordon and Joao Cancelo have yet to be registered, but it is expected that the Catalans will take care of the matter before their opening match this weekend. Along with the new signings, Barcelona will also have to register Andreas Christensen, who signed a new contract this summer after his previous deal with the club expired on June 30.
