Juventus enquire about River Plate keeper Santiago Beltran
Juventus enquire about River Plate keeper Santiago Beltran Serie A side Juventus have roped in Guglielmo Vicario from Tottenham but they are still in the hunt for another player in that position, with Michele Di Gregorio and Mattia Perin on their way out of the Old Lady. The ex-Monza player is on his way to Bournemouth, with Perin nearing a switch to Palermo. Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Juve now see River Plate’s Santiago Beltran as a possible target. Initial enquiries have been made about the stopper, with the Argentine seen as the national team’s successor to Emi Martinez in the near future. As things stand, it remains to be seen if Juve would really pursue a deal or not, as River Plate’s demands are quite high. But everything could depend on exits and how much the Old Lady earn from them, with negotiations for Perin advancing with Palermo. Juve had to lower their price tag for the deal to progress and Perin’s departure is the reason why another keeper’s signing is being strongly considered. Kaustubh Pandey – GIFN
