Endrick remains an exceptional young talent and the arrival of Yan Diomande inevitably creates another obstacle between the Brazilian and regular first team football in Madrid. Liverpool clearly recognise that. For Iraola, the attraction is obvious. Endrick brings pace, direct running, strength and an instinct for attacking the penalty area. He would also provide something different from Liverpool’s existing wide options. Minteh appears far more attainable, although a potential fee north of £50million deserves proper scrutiny given his Premier League output so far and his current injury. Barcola remains the standout established target and would represent a major investment if Liverpool can bridge the valuation gap with PSG. Endrick feels different. This could simply prove to be Liverpool checking the market and receiving a straightforward refusal. It could also become relevant if Madrid’s position changes during the final days of the window. For Liverpool supporters, that makes his situation one worth following closely.
