Guehi Gets 8, Gvardiol With 7.5 | Manchester City Players Rated In Hard-Fought Win Vs Bournemouth Manchester City entertained Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Mancunian giants made a bright start to the game but conceded the opening goal in the 26th minute when Marcus Tavenier found the back of the net. Enzo Maresca’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline. Marc Guehi equalised for the Mancunian club in the 84th minute before Josko Gvardiol scored the winning goal in injury time. CM: Elliott Anderson – 6.5/10 He anchored the midfield well but offered very little going forward. CM: Nico O’Reilly – 6.5/10 O’Reilly worked hard but lacked the cutting edge in the final third. RW: Antoine Semenyo – 6.5/10 He made a couple of driving runs with the ball but failed to register a goal. CAM: Phil Foden – 7/10 Foden caught the eye at times, but there was no goal for him this afternoon. LW: Rico Lewis – 6/10 He earned possession back twice but lacked quality on the ball. ST: Erling Haaland – 6.5/10 Haaland was not shy of having a strike at goal but struggled to find the finishing touch. He was solid at the back. CAM: Rayan Cherki – 7.5/10 Cherki made a few inviting chances for his teammates in the final third and managed to earn a couple of assists. He added some energy to Maresca’s midfield.
