Gakpo Gets 8, Szoboszlai With 7 | Liverpool Players Rated In Hard-Fought Draw Vs Newcastle United Liverpool faced off against Newcastle United at St. James’ Park earlier today as they looked to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Reds made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the fifth minute when Anthony Elanga found the back of the net. Andoni Iraola’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline. Cody Gakpo equalised for Liverpool with a great strike in the 55th minute. CM: Dominik Szoboszlai – 7/10 Szoboszlai was a menace at times in the final third and managed to score from the penalty spot in injury time with an emphatic effort.
