The Swans hope to finalise a permanent deal for Eustaquio, who played - and scored against South Africa - at this year's World Cup. The 29-year-old has played for Porto since 2022, and featured as a substitute in their league game against Rio Ave earlier this month. However, it appears the Portuguese giants are willing to sell a player who managed 12 appearances in the first half of last season before joining Los Angeles FC on loan. He briefly played in Mexico for Cruz Azul before returning to Portugal with Pacos Ferreira and then signing for Porto. Swansea have been looking to strengthen their midfield having sold Ethan Galbraith to Stoke this summer and said farewell to Malick Yalcouye after his loan spell from Brighton.
