RB Leipzig join the race for exit-bound Barcelona midfielder; Turkish clubs also keen – Romano Marc Casado’s departure from Barcelona is beginning to attract interest from across Europe, with RB Leipzig emerging as the latest club to explore a potential deal for the midfielder. According to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano , the Bundesliga side is among the clubs that have contacted Barcelona within the last 48 hours to ask about the conditions required to sign Casado.  Romano also mentions that Turkish teams are also monitoring the situation, as the 22-year-old’s departure from the Blaugrana becomes increasingly likely. The growing number of enquiries is significant because Casado is no longer a player attracting occasional interest.  His future is actively being linked away from Barcelona, with the midfielder currently training separately from the main group as all parties work towards finding his next destination. Casado has known since the end of last season that regular first-team opportunities could be difficult to secure during the current campaign. That prompted his camp to begin exploring a move , and the midfielder now appears to be moving closer to a permanent exit. The immediate question is no longer whether there will be interest, as Barcelona must now wait to see which club is prepared to take the next step. Barcelona asking €25 million for Casado Despite the number of clubs making enquiries, Casado’s valuation has complicated his search for a new team. Barcelona are currently seeking around €25 million for the midfielder and the interested clubs have so far found it difficult to reach that figure. Barcelona nevertheless appear unwilling to significantly compromise on their current valuation, meaning any club interested in the midfielder will need to move closer to the €25 million mark. Turkey, England and Saudi Arabia remain possible options Leipzig are not the only club assessing the situation. Casado has attracted interest from several markets throughout the summer. Two Saudi Arabian clubs, including Al Hilal, have previously been linked with the Barcelona midfielder. A move to the Middle East appears unlikely, though, as Casado does not want to continue his career there. In England, Sunderland and Nottingham Forest have also emerged as potential destinations, while Turkish clubs continue to show interest. The number of options available means Casado and his representatives may have a genuine choice to make once concrete proposals begin to arrive.
