Blackpool re-sign Luton striker Yates on loan
Jerry Yates scored four goals in 18 Championship appearances for Sheffield Wednesday last season [Shutterstock] Blackpool have re-signed Luton Town striker Jerry Yates on a season-long loan deal. The 29-year-old previously scored 42 goals in 124 league appearances for the Tangerines between 2020 and 2023. He joined Luton from Swansea City last August but scored just twice in 22 League One appearances before joining Sheffield Wednesday on loan for the second half of the campaign. He could feature for Ian Evatt's side in Saturday's home game against Peterborough United. All done deals in August 2026 All the latest Blackpool news
