The reserve side defeated Reus 2-1 as preparations continue for the official start of the campaign, and Bisiwu was one of the standout performers. The 18-year-old had already shown flashes of his ability during pre-season with the Barcelona first team , scoring twice on his debut.  His latest display offered further evidence of the quality that convinced the club to bring him in this summer. Bisiwu will now be hoping to build on that momentum when Barça Atlètic face Cornella on Saturday in their penultimate pre-season test.  Bisiwu produces stunning individual goal The Belgian winger looked lively from the opening stages against Reus and was involved in Barça Atlètic’s first clear opportunity. After beating two opponents, Bisiwu created enough space to get a shot away, narrowly missing the target as Barcelona pushed for an opening goal. His persistence was eventually rewarded in the 40th minute. Bisiwu opened the scoring with a superb individual finish, showing quick feet to create space after an excellent cutback before calmly beating the goalkeeper with his left foot. It was a goal that showed the qualities he has already brought to Barcelona’s attention: confidence in one-on-one situations, close control and the ability to produce something unexpected in the final third. Visa situation keeps Bisiwu training with Barça Atlètic Bisiwu’s immediate situation, however, remains slightly more complicated away from the pitch. As previously reported , the youngster is currently training with Barça Atlètic while pending visa procedures prevent La Liga from authorising his registration. Although he is formally registered with the reserve team for now, Barcelona’s longer-term sporting plan is for Bisiwu to remain involved with the first-team setup. That makes his time with Barça Atlètic particularly useful, as it allows the winger to maintain his match fitness and continue adapting to Barcelona’s style while the administrative process is resolved. The club can also monitor his development closely before deciding how to integrate him into senior competition.
