Real Madrid to sign €3m defender as part of double deal with Spanish club

Real Madrid to sign €3m defender as part of double deal with Spanish club Real Madrid are due for a quiet end to the summer transfer window, having already made the required additions to Jose Mourinho’s squad. However, it is expected that at least one or two players will join Castilla before next week’s deadline, as the club continues its plans to strengthen the ranks within La Fabrica. Last week, it was reported that Racing de Santander midfielder Sergio Martinez is of interest to Real Madrid , and talks are already underway to convince him to join Castilla with a view to a future first team promotion. The 19-year-old is not the only player that would link up with Julian Lopez’s squad, as a double deal with Granada has now been lined up. As per Marca , Real Madrid are in advanced talks to sign Oscar Naasei and Rayan Zinebi from Granada. The former, who has already featured 48 times for the Andalusians since making his first team debut in May 2024, would be the more experience of the two, with a price of €3m having been floated in recent days. Real Madrid need to strengthen Castilla again after summer exits Naasei, who has already made his senior debut for Ghana, would arrive to reinforce Castilla’s defensive options, while Zinebi would strengthen the attack. Both players are necessary additions for the subsidiary, which has seen numerous players leave over the course of the summer, as usually happens with Real Madrid when clubs come sniffing around La Fabrica. Real Madrid have found a fantastic business model in La Fabrica. They have managed to generate a lot of income using their youth players, and the likes of Naasei and Zinebi could end up moving on for profit in 2027 – if signed – if they manage to impress for Castilla over the next 12 months, although they would also surely have their eyes on a first team call-up too.
