Fenerbahce submit offer for OGC Nice’s Kojo Peprah Oppong Fenerbahce, who beat Olympique Lyonnais on Wednesday night to secure their place in this season’s UEFA Champions League, have submitted a bid for OGC Nice defender Kojo Peprah Oppong (22), according to a report from L’Équipe . Nice needed to make more sales before the end of the summer and Peprah Oppong, who only joined last summer, was one of those susceptible to departing before the end of the window. The Ghana international had already been the subject of interest from RC Strasbourg Alsace earlier in the summer. Peprah Oppong has also been the subject of interest from Turkey. Trabzonspor have shown interest but it is Fenerbahce who have now submitted a bid for the defender. L’Équipe understands that the bid from the Turkish side is worth over €10m. Nice could, therefore, be set to lose another defender. It comes less than 24 hours after it was confirmed that Moise Bombito will have to undergo further surgery on a tibia injury sustained last October.
