Barcelona ready to reward two young stars with new contracts after impressing Hansi Flick Barcelona are preparing to reward two of their emerging young talents after their impressive performances during pre-season, with Xavi Espart and Brian Farinas both willing to open talks over new and improved contracts. According to SPORT , Barcelona sporting director Deco and the club’s hierarchy have informed both players’ representatives of their intention to improve their salary conditions after the youngsters convinced Hansi Flick during the summer. At present, Deco has plenty of major issues to manage, but Barcelona are also keeping an eye on important contract situations within the squad. The futures of Espart and Farinas have now emerged as two files the club intend to address once the market closes, with September expected to bring discussions over their improved terms. Espart earns first-team place after standout summer Espart is set to hold a first-team registration this season after a pre-season that exceeded expectations. Instead, his performances changed the situation. Espart consistently impressed during the summer and earned the confidence of the coaching staff, pushing himself into contention for a place in the senior squad. Barcelona now expect him to remain with the first team unless there is an unexpected late twist before the transfer window closes.  If his place in Flick’s squad is formally confirmed, the club is ready to address his contract renewal and improved financial conditions. Farinas featured in several different roles during the friendlies and continued to adapt well.  Rather than being unsettled by the positional changes, Farinas used the opportunities to demonstrate his quality and adaptability. Those performances helped convince Barcelona that he deserved greater recognition, while also strengthening his position within the club’s plans for the future. Now, Barcelona want to sit down with both Espart and Farinas, discuss improved conditions and secure their futures at the club.
