Vaz had scored four goals and provided two assists from 14 appearances in Ligue 1 at the start of the 2025-26 season before joining Roma midway through the campaign. He would go on to add one more goal to his seasonal tally from 12 outings in Serie A, all of which came off the bench. The likes of Manu Kone, Wesley and Matias Soule are still on the books in the final week of the Serie A transfer window. The players that have left the Stadio Olimpico this summer include Artem Dovbyk to Genoa as part of the deal that saw Santiago Castro move in the opposite direction, as well as Saud Abdulhamid, Eldor Shomurodov and Buba Sangare. Zeki Celik has also left to join Juventus on a free transfer.
