Fulham and Eintracht Frankfurt show interest in Rennes’ Djaoui Cissé, but… Fulham and Eintracht Frankfurt are reportedly among the clubs interested in signing Stade Rennais player Djaoui Cissé (22), according to Foot Mercato . However, whilst the two clubs may well be about to submit an offer to their French counterparts in a bid to sign Cissé, the player himself is said to favour a move to RC Strasbourg Alsace, who are reportedly keen on the midfielder. That said, as things stand, no agreement has reportedly been reached between the various parties, and the 22-year-old’s future therefore remains uncertain. What is certain, however, is that his departure from SRFC seems all but confirmed, despite a contract running until 2030. Although talented, Cissé has nevertheless seen his prospects of securing playing time diminish in the face of ever-increasing competition. Having made 24 appearances in Ligue 1 last season, 12 of them as a starter, the French Under-21 international (eight caps, four goals) is therefore looking for a new club. And there is no shortage of suitors. GFFN  |  Léo Aschi
