Champions League 2026/27 league phase draw: Man Utd face Bayern in UCL return, Arsenal to face Real Madrid The league phase draw for the 2026/27 Champions League campaign has been completed at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco today. The Premier League’s five representatives in the tournament have been handed tricky fixtures, with each getting their fair share of European big-hitters in their eight-match line-up. Premier League champions Arsenal will face record holders Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, who have 21 titles between them. Manchester City will face reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona in their first Champions League campaign post-Pep Guardiola. Manchester United will take on Atletico Madrid and Bayern on their return to Europe’s premier tournament, while Aston Villa face Barcelona, PSG, and Borussia Dortmund.
