Charlton defender Ramsay signs new four-year deal

The 25-year-old has been a mainstay for the Addicks' back line since he arrived from Harrogate in 2024, and has gone on to play 80 times, scoring one goal. He featured in the Charlton side which won promotion from League One via the ply-offs, when they defeated London rivals Leyton Orient. After signing the new deal, Ramsay said playing for the club has been "the first time in my career where I genuinely feel like I've found a home". "The Charlton family mean a lot to me," he told the club website. "Every single day I come in ready to work with a smile on my face." Manager Nathan Jones said: "Kayne has been a vital part of what we've achieved in the last two-and-a-half years.
