Monaco and Chelsea negotiating for Lamine Camara transfer to replace Enzo Fernández
Monaco and Chelsea negotiating for Lamine Camara transfer to replace Enzo Fernández AS Monaco and Chelsea are reportedly in negotiations over the transfer of Lamine Camara (22), according to information from journalist Sacha Tavolieri. The Senegalese midfielder is seen as the ideal replacement for Enzo Fernández (25), who could himself join Manchester City before the transfer window closes. Thiago Scuro, ASM’s managing director, is said to have taken charge of the matter, with the aim of finalising the deal within 48 hours, whilst a cheque for €60m could be enough to persuade the Monaco board to agree to Camara’s departure. A key figure in Ligue 1 in the heart of the park, the Diouloulou-born player is coming off the back of a successful 2025-26 season with the Monegasque club, scoring three goals and providing four assists in 31 appearances across all competitions. A Senegal international, Camara also played a major part in the Lions of Teranga’s run to the final of the last Africa Cup of Nations and featured in all four of Pape Thiaw’s side’s matches at the World Cup.
