Rennes’ Djaoui Cissé keen on Strasbourg move Stade Rennais midfielder Djaoui Cissé (22) is keen on a move to RC Strasbourg Alsace, as per a report from L’Équipe . Cissé broke through under Habib Beye two seasons ago but was much less prominent last season. The France youth international has fallen down the pecking order under Franck Haise and he is one of the players that the Breton club are keen to offload before the end of the transfer window. But not at any cost. Les Rennais have made considerable demands for the young midfielder. They have set a €20m price tag. Cissé himself is desperate to join Strasbourg; at this stage, he is not willing to listen to any other offers, L’Équipe understands. He has even agreed to a move to the Meinau, however, Strasbourg may find it harder to reach an agreement with Rennes. There is a considerable gap in the player’s valuation between the two clubs.
