West Brom agree fee with Man Utd for Collyer

Toby Collyer joined West Brom on loan last summer but returned to Manchester United in January after making 12 appearances, including three starts [Getty Images] Manchester United midfielder Toby Collyer is set to join Championship outfit West Brom, where he had a spell on loan last season. United have agreed an initial fee of £3m for the 22-year-old, but the overall package with add-ons is worth £7.6m. In addition, the transfer is subject to a 40% sell-on. Collyer had been choosing between West Brom and Hull, where he was also on loan during 2025/26. Initially, West Brom seemed to be favourites, then it looked like Hull were going to win the race. Finally, it seems Collyer has been persuaded to move to the Hawthorns by Baggies boss James Morrison. Although Collyer's appearances were limited because of injury, the midfielder impressed Morrison during his time at West Brom over the first half of last season. It is thought the prospect of increased playing time was a decisive factor in Collyer's decision. Latest West Bromwich Albion news, analysis and fan views
