Rangers winger Djeidi Gassama on Monaco radar AS Monaco could soon step up their efforts to sign Rangers’ Djeidi Gassama (22), according to information from Foot Mercato . Having already shown interest in the winter transfer window, albeit ultimately unsuccessfully, the French club have reportedly not given up on the Paris Saint-Germain academy graduate and 2022 Ligue 1 champion and could attempt to secure his services before the transfer window closes. Whilst Rangers’ management are open to the idea of parting ways with Gassama, they have no intention of letting him leave for less than €10m, as his contract runs until 2029. AC Monza and Parma, whose €7m bids were rejected by the Scottish club, know where they stand. Having arrived in Glasgow from Sheffield Wednesday last summer, Gassama is coming off the back of a solid season with the Teddy Bears, for whom he made 56 appearances in all competitions (40 starts), scoring nine goals and providing six assists.
