'Goals change games' - Neil

Millwall manager Alex Neil was not happy with his side's response to being pegged back in their 5-1 defeat by Southampton Mark Sykes put the Lions in front but the Saints hit back for a comfortable win. Neil said Millwall started well, but lost their way after the equaliser. "My assessment is goals change games," he told BBC Radio London. "For 25 minutes, I thought we were excellent. We dominated the opening proceedings and scored a good goal and probably should have scored another. "We haven't been as clinical [as needed] and games like today show that comes back to bite you a little bit." Neil said he expected his side to be more resilient having come into this game unbeaten this season. "I was surprised how much their first goal seemed to set us back, which I don't understand. We normally go again. "If we scored before half time, we could have gone again second half. The second half is difficult because we already have two forwards on the pitch.
