Borussia Mönchengladbach confirm hospitalization of Japanese fullback Daiki Hashioka Borussia Mönchengladbach face an anxious wait over the fitness of Daiki Hashioka. The Japanese defender was taken directly to hospital following Saturday’s 3-0 Bundesliga defeat against RB Leipzig. Hashioka was involved in a heavy collision with Leipzig attacker Antonio Nusa in the second half. The 26-year-old required lengthy treatment before being substituted and was subsequently transported to Leipzig University Hospital for further examinations.
