Richarlison in talks over shock Everton return – with Iliman Ndiaye moving other way to Tottenham

Tottenham and Everton are in talks about deals that could take Iliman Ndiaye to London and bring Richarlison back to Merseyside. Spurs have targeted the Everton attacker as Roberto De Zerbi looks to complete the expensive overhaul of his forward line after they failed to score while losing their first two league games of the season. Tottenham have brought in Savio for a minimum of £75m, which could rise to £85m, and Omar Marmoush, on a loan that will become a £60m purchase, from Manchester City. Now they are looking to add Senegal international Ndiaye, who has scored 15 Premier League goals for Everton since his £15m move from Marseille two years ago. With the eventual transfer fee for Marmoush and buying Ndiaye, Tottenham’s summer spending is set to go past £400m. While Everton have already done one swap deal this summer, signing Brennan Johnson from Crystal Palace while Dwight McNeil moved to Selhurst Park, these moves would come after separate conversations. Richarlison was a popular player for Everton before his 2022 transfer to Tottenham, with the Merseyside club banking £60m when they were trying to avoid failing Financial Fair Play. The Brazil international has scored 32 goals in 134 games for Tottenham after finding the net 53 times in his four years at Everton. Everton could also lose teenager midfielder Harrison Armstrong, who is the subject of interest from Nottingham Forest, and manager David Moyes said after Saturday’s 1-1 draw to Bournemouth that he did not want to sell anyone. “I don’t think we can afford to lose any players, certainly not our better ones,” he said. “The club dictates a lot of that.”
