'This team may surprise us all once they gel'

[BBC] United fans, we asked for your views on Saturday's 4-0 win over Kilmarnock. Here's what some of you had to say: John: The performance against Killie was a surprise to many United fans. We know we have the potential to be a good team and we showed it. The Will Ferry situation is a difficult one, personally I would like to keep him as he is worth more on the pitch than pounds in the pocket of chairman Mark Ogren. He could be the difference between a good season and a relegation battle. Billy: Just the tonic for Jim Goodwin. United were easy winners and Kilmarnock got off lightly at 4-0. Will Ferry at £2m is steal of this or any other season. What a player who is only getting better. Lee: A great result that hopefully kickstarts our season. Every player performed well but special mention to Ferry, Emmanuel Agyei and Bert Esselink. Best wishes to Jim Goodwin, we are all thinking of you. Dave: The new style of play worked a treat, mind you Kilmarnock were very poor. No bad performances and Ferry was very, very good. This team may surprise us all once they gel. Ian: What a difference a week makes. I commented last week speculating how we always seem to be a team in transition, I obviously need to be more patient. This was a solid team performance. It's not every week you win by four, however, I won't get carried away. Crucial week ahead. This early in the season momentum is key.
