🚨 BREAKING: Liverpool announce appointment of Andoni Iraola Liverpool have formally announced the appointment of Andoni Iraola as the club's new manager.  The news arrives after swift negotiations, with the Reds looking to replace the sacked Arne Slot as the club gears up for the 2026/27 season.  Iraola was the frontrunner for the position following a strong campaign with Premier League side Bournemouth. The Cherries finished sixth in the table, just three points behind Liverpool despite losing fewer games.  “Really excited, really excited,” Iraola said in a club statement. “Because obviously you know about Liverpool, you know that it’s a big club, a massive club, one of the biggest in the world. “But feeling inside and understanding a little bit more of this club, I always thought it’s a special club.
