'Icing on the cake' - fans on what Everton still need to do

[BBC] [Getty Images] We asked you what transfer business Everton need to complete before Tuesday's 23:00 BST deadline. Here are some of your comments: Lee: Everton player priority must be a striker, not a full-back! Goals win games, the impressive Merlin Rohl can make right-back his own! Macca: We need to sign a recognised right-back and a recognised striker. Jack Grealish would fit nicely into this team especially with James Garner and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. I think we might be OK then. Also, don't sell Iliman Ndiaye at any cost. Graham: Maybe a right-back? Only needed one for eight years! Unlike the board, I can easily identify several options. A centre-forward would be nice, and an upgrade at left-back if possible? So maybe Brooke Norton-Cuffey, Dusan Vlahovic and Myles Lewis-Skelly as an optimistic loan deal? John: I'm really fed up of hearing that Everton have to sign a right-back. If that right-back is not better than the players we have covering, then what is the point of wasting money and keeping good players out of the side? Yes sign one if he improves the team, but if not improve the players we have by making them play in other positions. Alex: It's vital we sign a quality right-back before the deadline and hold onto Ndiaye and O'Brien. A striker would be great. The icing on the cake would be to see Jack Grealish return. A European place and a good cup run would then be a realistic target. Max: We obviously need a right-back. Kenny Tete looks like he is coming, but honestly it doesn't seem like the best decision. We should be looking at younger players. If Ndiaye leaves, we must sign Grealish. As long as we have either at the club on deadline day, it is good. Is Richarlison really necessary for us though? When he played for us previously he would often completely disappear for a large portion of the game. However, he does have promising numbers and is excellent on his day. It's the board's call now. Geoff: Everton should focus solely on what they really need. A right-back and another striker who can score. That's it.
