Norwich defender Medic joins Utrecht on loan
Medic made 18 appearances for Norwich City last season [Getty Images] Norwich City defender Jakov Medic has joined Eredivisie side FC Utrecht on a season-long loan deal. Medic, 27, agreed a three-year contract with the Canaries when he moved to Carrow Road from another Dutch side, Ajax, last summer. The centre-back made 18 appearances in all competitions for Norwich last season but has been allowed to leave by manager Philippe Clement and find first-team football elsewhere. Utrecht, who finished sixth in the Netherlands' top tier last season, have the option to buy Medic next summer.
