'Headless chickens' and 'as fans we deserve better'

[BBC] [BBC Sport] We asked for your views on Everton's transfer business. Here are some of your comments: Paul: In all fairness I never expected anything other than how this debacle has turned out. It's Everton's way to buy as cheap as possible and at the last minute - this time they have been caught out. I am done with the club as long as these owners are in charge. Peter: At the start of the transfer window we were full of optimism as early signs of getting the recruitment done early seemed to be paying dividends, however by the end we were left scrabbling around for the dregs while other clubs swept up the better players. Harry: Baffled, every year we are baffled by decisions made by owners or managers! It's like the Friedkin Group have bought an entertainment centre on the banks of a famous river. Maybe it will be looked at as a cash cow for them but once the fan base turns it will become anything other than a cash cow. We have had enough of stupid decisions and bad management. Andrew: Kinnear should resign. Stephen: Shambolic transfer deadline day. We had weeks to prepare and ended up running around like headless chickens. As fans we deserve better than this. If there isn't the money available to fund a proper squad rebuild then tell us, we are grown ups and can understand.
